Valuation of central Trafficprojects in GRAZ

In the current legislative period of the council of the city Graz important traffic projects have been realized. In this project their effects should be analyzed having regard to criterions of economic, the city budget and the business of Graz in the view of traffic-political and city-economical belongings. The traffic projects are: 1. The commercial control over parking space in a blue zone where only short parking is allowed, a green zone where people can stand as long as they want but have to pay a fee and Park and Ride stations with a direct connection to the public transport system. 2. A zone of side streets with a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour. The study includes a hierarchical effect-analyze consisting of an economic level with an effectiveness-analysis, an cost-effectiveness-analysis and a cost-benefit analysis for assessment of the considered projects on the welfare. Finally a fiscal-effect-analysis will be done.
