The Federal Ministry of Climate Action, Environment, Mobility, Innovation and Technology has commissioned the Energieinstitut of the JKU Linz with the project "Datenkreise Energiewirtschaft". This project addresses the question how the availability of data bases can initiate the devellopment of new products and services. In the industry and energy sector a lot of data is beein recorded, but it is not collected and connected. The goal of the project is to identify the relevant national stakeholders, requirements and use cases for different applications.

The Institute of Energy Systems and Thermodynamics was comissioned by the Energieinstitut of the JKU Linz with

• drawing up a white paper on the topic "Status-quo of industry 4.0 in Austria",
• participation in stakeholder workshops and
• support with specifying use cases.
