Biomass combustion and its impact on PM10 and PM2.5 emissions in Lower Austria and West Hungary - implications for biomass combustion technologies
01.02.2007 - 31.12.2007
Research funding project
In this project test burns of wood indigenuous for Austria are performed in different oven and boiler types to assess the emission of PM2.5 and PM10, including a range of chemical species. The species investigated are selective tracers and a wide range of compounds required to characterize the wood smoke composition. The tracers and wood smoke profiles will be used for the AQUELLA - data bank for CMB modeling.
