Due to the lack of rules and standards on environmental impact criteria public tendering for railway infrastructure projects tends to be difficult to perform. The project will develop environmental performance indicators. A first evaluation will be performed using the example of an innovative green track newly to be built on a section of the extension of Vienna¿s tram line 26.
