Financial volume of public procurement in Austria

The key aim of the research is to provide a comprehensive estimate of the financial volume within the framework of public procurement in Austria. Within the context of the preliminary study regarding this question, the basic features of a sound method as well as an analysis of deficiencies in the data basis will be obtained. The themes will be examined with three approaches: Public Budgets: empirical evaluation of the available budgetary data of the Austrian public sector on an aggregated level in accordance with the method described below, Public tenders: clarification of the information conditions and identification of possible empirical parameter as supplementary contribution to the assessment of the total volume of public procure-ment based on the raw data of public tenders of the client (ANKÖ), Case example: clarification of the information conditions for an entity of the public sector.
