Meine Forschung liegt an der Schnittstelle von formalen Methoden und autonomen Systemen. Aktuell arbeite ich an uniformem Sampling von Timed Regular Expressions zur Testfallgenerierung und am szenariobasierten Testen automatisierter Fahrzeuge. Dazu kommt die Frage, wie LLMs das interaktive Theorembeweisen in Lean 4 unterstützen können, angewendet auf Cyber-Physical Systems. Zuvor habe ich an epidemiologischer Modellierung und Simulation gearbeitet. Publiziert habe ich bisher in den Bereichen Verifikation & Validierung und Simulation. Aus der reinen Mathematik kommend, habe ich nach wie vor ein Faible für Algebra.

My research spans formal methods and autonomous systems. Recent and ongoing work includes uniform sampling of Timed Regular Expressions for test case generation and scenario-based testing of automated vehicles. I am currently exploring how large language models can support interactive theorem proving in Lean 4, with cyber-physical systems as the application domain. Earlier on, I worked on epidemiological modeling and simulation. I have co-authored peer-reviewed publications in verification & validation and in simulation. Coming from a background in pure mathematics, I still have a soft spot for algebra.
