Teaching professional skills (soft skills) for responsible, creative and active engineers (male and female) for industry and business (communication, team spirit, leadership, responsibility)
The lecture addresses three aspects of creativity:
- Creativity in individuals: Influence of intelligence, personality and perception on creativity ¿ Definition of creativity, methods to unfold creativity
- Creativity in teams: Team performance (What is a team? How can geographically distributed, intercultural and interdisciplinary teams work efficiently?) ¿ Idea generation in teams, how do creativity techniques work and can a team make use of them?
- Creativity in Organizations: From a creative idea to innovation ¿ how can a creative idea be implemented successfully? How can an idea be marketed?
This is a an interactive lecture where the participants are expected to actively get involved in discussions.
About the lecturers:
Hesamedin Ostad-Ahmad-Ghorabi has been researcher at TU Wien for more than 10 years where he researched in the fields of sustainable product development and creative engineering. He changed to industry where he is responsible for the development of interiors for the big European car manufacturers.
Jutta Jerlich: Specialization in innovation technology enhancing learning processes in industry, higher education, lifelong learning and talent management.
