After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the complex patterns of interactions between people and the built environment. Moreover, they are enabled to critically review today's practice of generate the built environment from a human ecology point of view.
This course introduces scientific approaches toward the understanding of the complex patterns of interactions between people and built environments. Knowledge gained in various relevant scientific disciplines (biology, physiology, and cognitive sciences) are processes into a unified discursive framework toward integrative assessment of specific questions regarding the occupancy evaluation.

This lecture is part of Modul 7/first (or third) semester of the curriculum of Master of Building Science. Modul 7 needs to be sucessful completed to be able to finish your Master Studies. Therefore, please ensure to take the exam in time!

- The motive for taking this course should be interest in the matter, not the fact that the course is held in english
