Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and rudimentary apply the basic concepts of (higher) mathematics that are required for Building Science.

This course provides an introduction to concepts in higher mathematics and statistics: numbers, counts, vector, matrices; mathematical induction, sequences and series, terms, differential calculus and integrals; basic concepts of statistics, distribution functions, combinatorics
