3 Cities_5 Universities_One United Project
The MUNISS project is an international, cross-border and interuniversity cooperation project between the cities of Vienna, Bratislava and Brno, as well as the participating universities

• Vienna University of Technology,
• Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava,
• Masaryk University Brno,
• Brno University of Technology and
• Mendel University in Brno.

Within the MUNISS project, concepts and scenarios for defined areas of the three cities should be developed th-rough student project work. The three different topics will be defined till autumn 2018. This project (P3; 12 ECTS) is offered by the Centre of Regional Planning and Regional Development / Department for Spatial Planning in coope-ration with the above mentioned partners.

Workflow:

• In the selection process, interdisciplinary teams will be formed by the MUNISS format.
• Teams (3 per city) work on development concepts and development scenarios for their planning area.
• Within the start workshop, mid-term workshop and end workshop in Brno, Bratislava and Vienna the work progress of the teams will be presented.
• During the final workshop the projects will be presented, graded and prized by a jury (approx. 2500,-EUR prize money per each city).

Time schedule:

• Detailed information and project presentation on 15th of October 2018 at the Centre of Regional Planning and Regional Development
• Application at the office of the Centre of Regional Planning and Regional Development (incl. letter of motivation in English, one A4 page) - (25th of October 2018)
• Registration for the project(city) - (November 2018)
• Start of the project (P3) - (January 2019)
• Workshop in Brno - (January 2019)
• P3 - Project workshop in Vienna - (March 2019)
• Mid-term workshop in Bratislava - (April 2019)
• End workshop (final presentation/ Awarding of the  project works) in Vienna - (May/June 2019)

Costs:

Within the project, costs will be covered by the participating cities (travel, accommodation and material costs).
