Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • ... understand the relationship between built space and mobility behaviour and evaluate urban designs in terms of their impact on mobility behaviour.
  • ... weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of suitable steering instruments for neighbourhood-related mobility
  • ... independently develop a mobility concept for sustainable mobility in the neighbourhood:
    • ... understand the (local) conditions for the design and take them into account in the conception
    • ... weigh up and design integrated mobility measures at neighbourhood level
    • ... develop an implementation strategy (responsibilities, timetable, participation, financing, quality assurance, ...) for mobility measures in the neighbourhood.

REGISTRATION MODE:

The number of participants for this course is limited to 15. Due to the high demand, please send a letter of motivation until 3.3.2023 6pm to aurelia.kammerhofer@tuwien.ac.at. The decision regarding participation in the course is made based on the letter of motivation. The letter of motivation (max. 1 A4 page) should outline your interest and if applicable, previous relevant work (e.g. P1, P2).
