After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand mobile digital communication technologies, especially of the fourth and fifth generation, as well as, have an overview and understanding of current research developments for sixth generation technologies.
The most important technologies of fourth and fifth generation mobile communication systems will be discussed, with main focus on the signal processing perspective. As a basis, the underlying information theoretic concepts and models are introduced and reviewed. Furthermore, promising current developments of 6G technologies will be introduced.
The slides of the lecture and additional literature will be provided in TUWEL.
