After successful completion of the course, students are able to
- analyze analog and discrete-time linear time-invariant systems in time and frequency domain- design filters with frequency-domain specifications- apply oversampling techniques to minimize AD and DA conversion errors - design interpolators, decimators, and polyphase systems
Time- und frequency-domain description of continuous-time and discrete-time systems.
Low pass approximations (Butterworth, Tschebyscheff, Cauer, etc.), frequency transformations.
Analog systems: passive and active realizations, sensitivity analysis.
Digital systems: FIR- und IIR-systems, word-length effects.
Selected digital signal processing systems.
