After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and apply the methods described under the item "Lehrinhalte". The theoretical models are primarily based on mathematical methods. The students are able to solve basic problems related to telecommunication system design.

Mode of exercise:
- Enrollment in the TUWEL course will happen automatically (beginning to mid of March) for all who have registered to the TISS course.
- Preliminary discussion of the exercises: 15.03. at 4pm via Zoom (link will be announced in time)
- Three exercise units during the weeks of 02.-06. May, 23.-27. May and 13.-17. June. Choice of date via TUWEL.
- The exercise units will take place online via Zoom.
- Exercise test at the end of the semester in class.

The exam is written and oral. First the written part has to be successfully completed and after that the oral exam take place.
The exercise-part will be conducted via TUWEL. The exercise-part will be concluded by a written test. Details and modalities of the exercise-part are described in TUWEL. The TUWEL course will be opened mid to end of March. Please register for the course in TISS, such that we can automatically enroll you in the TUWEL course.
