Aim of course

Joint effort to understand new concepts and methods of distributed (decentralized) parameter estimation through the study of selected recent journal papers on this topic. Small teams of students present papers and simulate distributed estimation methods in MATLAB.

Subject of course

Selected concepts and methods of distributed (decentralized) parameter estimation with relevance to sensor network applications. This seminar is also addressed to Computer Science students as well as Masters students of Electrical Engineering outside the telecommunications branch.
