After successful completion of the course, students are able to
1. Remembering: the students will be able to find recent literature on the topic of signal processing in wireless communications, to work out details independently and to know about potential problems in 6G Technologies.
2. Understanding: the students will be able to understand existing problems by learning modern transmission techniques.
3. Applying: the students will be able to apply the proposed solutions.
4. Analysing: the students will be able to analyse proposed solutions by utilizing modern signal processing techniques.
5. Synthesising: the students will be able to include proposed solutions in the future 6G net.
6. Assessing: the students will be able to assess the performance of future techniques.
Participants prepare a presentation on one subject -technologies -systems -algorithms -and networks in mobile radio communications. They present at their home university (Vienna) and listen to and discuss the presentations at TU Munich and EURECOM. All presentations are in English language.
This year's topic at TU Wien is "Communication and sensing", a hot topic for the 6th generation wireless.
We introduce recent novel methods in signal processing
A unique opportunity to make contacts with other excellent universities in Europe.
We will grade the depth of understanding of the subject and the presentation. No additional test or exam. Personal presence at all three events in Vienna, Munich and Sophie Antipolis is required (travel costs are covered by the Institute).
