Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply common mathematical tools, such as the Laplace and Fourier transforms, to describe and analyze continuous-time signals and systems.

Subject of course

Continuous-time signals and systems. Fourier transform. Laplace transform. Fourier series. LTI systems in the time domain. LTI systems in the Laplace domain. LTI systems in the frequency domain.

Teaching methods

Lectures are held on-site.

Videos and an exercise script will be provided to supplement the lectures (via TISS).

MATLAB exercises will be handled via TUWEL.

If required by the authorities due to the epidemiological situation, the course will take place in distance learning format.
