The course deals with current topics from ongoing research projects related to distributed systems in various application domains such as industrial and buildilding automation, smart grids, traffic or environmental monitoring. The work topics will be presented at the begin of the course and amended during the semester if needed.
Project work including specification, requirements analysis, implementation (hardware and/or programming).
The work can be accomplished with free timing in agreement with the supervisor (also during the summer break). There are regular meetings with the supervisor.
Depending on the actual work task submission and presentation of a hardware/software implementation, a documentation or written work.
