Subject of course

The lecture presents fundamentals of industrial communication networks: protocols, wireless and wired technologies, real-time behaviour, standardization, security and safety aspects as well as application examples. Individual fieldbus systems (Profibus, CAN, Interbus,...) will be treated as well as real-time Ethernet and wireless systems.

Presentation and discussion of relevant technology basics, discussion of application examples, talks and discussions with experts from industrial practice
