Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to bring their PhD thesis work to a satisfactory end, provided they possess the knowledge and the capacities that are required for writing a PhD thesis in the respective field.

Subject of course

Supervision of PhD students.

Teaching methods

The student and the supervisor (Hlawatsch) meet more or less regularly to discuss the field of the dissertation and the student's work on the thesis. The supervisor reads preliminary versions of available parts of the thesis and provides his comments to the student.
