Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to discuss in depth modern methods of mechatronic system design and scientific instrumentation. This is practiced on actual examples from scientific projects conducted within the resarch group.

Subject of course

The content of this seminar strongly depends on the skills and needs of the participants, resulting in an individual program for each run.

The study goal of this course is to deepen the knowledge on mechatronics, automation and control that has been obtained in the master-curriculum "Energie- und Automatisierungstechnik" and offers PhD-students to discuss modern methods of mechatronic system design and scientific instrumentation. This seminar is particulary offered for PhD-students in precision engineering, instrumentation, and automation.
