Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • describe and analyse complex electromagnetic actuators (e.g. permanent magnet motors) by means of magnetic equivalent circuits.
  • model coupled elastic mechanical structures.

Subject of course

Selected topics for the mathematical modeling of complex dynamical systems from different (coupled) physical domains (coupled elastic mechanical structures, electromagnetic transducers, etc.).
