DC and AC armature windings
In the "Drives" modules, the functionality of electrical machines is studied using the DC motor and the permanent magnet synchronous motor as examples. During the lessions, examples are solved in group work. A document of the solution is written by the group.
In the "Design of Electrical Machines" part, the basic design methods of electrical machines will be presented. Short, individual tasks are carried out to deepen the immediate understanding.
For both parts, lecture notes are available at the insitute 370-2.
Part "Electrical Drives": Solving examples in groups, generating a document of the solution.
Part "Design of Electrical Machines": Short individual tasks for an immediate solution.
Final examination: Short written exam with calculating examples from both parts for all students together.
