Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement field oriented control schemes of permanent magnet synchronous machines on real time processor systems and to perform measurements.

Subject of course

Signal processor-based real-time control systems. Programming drive control algorithms with synchronous and asynchronous motors. Design of controllers. Realizing speed- and position-controlled drives. Measuring the properties of the realized drives.
