A linear two axes positioning system with servodrives will be taken into high dynamic operation. After identifikation of machine and system parameters, different control structures will established and compared by practical measurements.
Specific features of positioning tasks. Derivation of model equations and control structure. Tuning of the individual control loops. Parameter optimisation using different objectives.
This laboratory is part of a power electronics and motion control course offered by different european universities. (see also www.pemcweblab.com - "module 4.3 high dynamic drives - motion control") The test stand can be remotely controlled via internet. The practical measurememts can thus be performed from any PC with internet connection.
