Aim of course

Procurement of knowledge conderning the most important power network analysis methods. Ability to interpret computation results.

Subject of course

Mathematical methods for solution of nonlinear equation systems, handling of sparse matrices, solution of differential equation systems, load flow computation methods, efficient outage simulation, state estimation, network equivalents, voltage and transient stability, demonstration of the application of computation software.
