Aim of course

On behalf of selected applications get familiar with main algorithms of numerical mathematics, statistics and operations research (specially optimization). Realisation on digital computers and applications in planning and operation of electrical power systems as well as in energy economics

Subject of course

Short and mid term load prediction, unit commitment and economic load dispatch for optimal power system operation and operation planning (scheduling), risc analysis and management
