After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement high dynamic field oriented control schemes of induction machines on real time processor systems and to perform measurements and experiments.
Design and programming of direct and indirect field-oriented induction motor control algrorithms using digital signal processors: Rotor frequency control and indirekt flux control. Field-oriented stator current control and direct flux model. Operation and optimization of the dynamic behaviour of the drive.
Attention: Due to the laboratory setup with high voltages and kinetic energy of the machines this course is classified as "dangourous laboratory" and stringent safety measures have to be considered. This course is organized with maximum 5 participants per group.
