Aim of course

The major aim of the course is in depth analyses of historical developments, recent indicators and future perspectives of mobility from an economic and environmental point of view.

Subject of course

This lecture will start with an overview of historical developments in the transport sector and discussion of the major indicators of transport with the special focus on passenger car mobility. Different kinds of alternative fuels and alternative automotive technologies will be examined from an economic and environmental point of view. Moreover, relevant policy targets and measures we be discussed as well as long-term scenarios. The analysis will be conducted from technical, economic and environmental point of view.
