In depth analyses of selected topics in energy economics.
Building on the introductory courses in energy economics this lecture will explore in more detail selected aspects of the energy value chain. Starting from the resource perspective on the supply side (fossils, nuclear, renewable energies, biomass systems), final energy service sectors (transport, heating) will be discussed subsequently. The coordination of supply and demand side takes place on markets, in this lecture emphasis will be put on the particularities of electricity markets.
