Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • evaluate renewable energy sytems and the relevant problems on a technical and economical basis
  • describe and calculate renewables like photovoltaics and wind energy converters
  • name, describe and evaluate storage technologies

Overview of renewable energy systems and energy conversion, photovoltaics, wind power plants, solar thermal installations, further renewable energy conversion systems, storage technologies, economy and market aspects
