Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to perform basic parameterization and testing of protection devices for electrical machines and systems. They will be able to calculate current and voltage conditions for phase-to-ground-failures in three-phase systems with different neutral grounding and to measure and understand the problem of the feedback effects of non-linear loads on the electrical system. Students can perform a simplified test of the dielectric strength of an air-insulated disconnector with high alternating voltage and impulse voltage.

Examination modalities

Before and during the practical exercises brief written or oral tests will take place on the topic of the training session.
Of each laboratory exercise a group report must be filled.

Die Anmeldungen werden nach folgender Reihenfolge bestätigt:

  1. Inskribierte Masterstudenten (066 460 oder 066 506 oder 066 507)
  2. Inskribierte Bachelorstundenten (033 235) welche folgende LVAs des Masterstudiums bereits erfolgreich absolviert haben (nach Anmeldereihenfolge):
     - 374.000 VO Hochspannungstechnik und
     - 373.013 VU Energieübertragung und Kraftwerke
    370.026 VO Kraftwerke und
     - 370.028 Energieübertragung und Hochspannungstechnik
  3. Alle weiteren Studenten (nach Anmeldereihenfolge)

Die endgültige Bestätigung und Annahme des Laborplatzes erfolgt während der Vorbesprechung (siehe Termine), daher ist die Anwesenheit dort erforderlich!
