Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • to carry out economic planning of power plants,
  • to carry out economical power plant deployment planning,
  • understand the theory behind load flow calculations
  • assess the reliability of power plants and networks,
  • carry out static and transient stability studies,
  • understand the functioning of hydropower plants,
  • understand the basic relationships of electromobility,
  • understand the structure and the application of battery storage systems.

Subject of course

Efficiency and optimal commitment of power plants, load flow analysis, reliability of generation, transmission and distribution systems, static and transient stability, 
hydro power plants, electro mobility,battery stroage systems.
