Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to describe the main aspects of electromagnetic compatibility in power systems, name and calculate coupling mechanisms, describe examples of electromagnetic fields of overhead lines, cables, transformers and electric rails, explain electrostatic discharges and mitigation measures and explain and calculate electric and magnetic shielding.
