Remarks:
- Emphasis is put on understanding of system coherence
- 5 Questions counting 20% each; for a positiv grade, at least 50% are necessary
- 3 out of 5 questions are analytical/quantitative examples
- Despite acceptance of a non-programmable calculator during the exam, encouragement to "mental arithmetics" and "rounding of (preliminary-)results" as well as "freehand diagrams without ruler"
Written materials are available for download in TUWEL.
This are:
- Skript "Energy Systems and Grids" (english); 8 out of 12 chapters are finalised; remaining "under preparation"
- ppt-slides of each of the 12 units
- Files of several written exams of the previous years
- In general, there is no precognition expected
- Basic understanding of interdependences in energy economics shall be existing
- Analytical intellectual power
- Interest in actual developments in international energy markets are beneficial
- Attending the individual lectures is advantageous, because actual development in energy markets are addressed
