Aim of course

By own literature research and discussions with the teacher the student will learn to access the state of the art of an actual research topic in micro / nano sensors. The students can also introduce their own topics to take into account their interests and or previous knowledge.

 

 

Subject of course

Independent research based on state-of-the-art publications in the field of micro- / nanosensorics, the corresponding technologies and the underlying basics. The results of the literature research are discussed with the supervisor and then presented and discussed in the framework of a final presentation.

Examples: Acoustic passive radar, Power sensor - power glove, nano-g accelerometer, bees with backpacks (micro-sensors), nanopore sequencing, microsensors based on a whispering gallery mode, wearable (sensor) devices for sports,…
