After successful completion of the course, students are able to discuss technical questions and problems, to present them to the audience of the respective subject and to report on them in the scientific and technical literature.

General supervision of doctorate thesis; discussion of aims, methods and topics of dissertation, discussion of milestones in course of the work as well as of questions and problems arising.

Discussion of scientific problems and systematic literature research; if applicable, learning and applying experimental analyses methods; discussion with supervisor and other doctoral students; presentation of own findings at international technical and scientific conferences.
