Aim of course

To get acquainted with the fundamentals and applications of microfluidics and sensor systems.

Subject of course

Ion sensors + DNA-sequencing with ion selective FETs
Microfluidics: from components (channels, mixer, valves,...) to systems (Lab on Chip)
Acoustic sensing (human perseption, related acoustic basics, microphones, MEMS devieces
Wireless sensors: Introduction into the basic priciples of these sensor types (electronic article surveillence, surface acoustic wave devices)
