After successful completion of the course, students are able to master the following topics: Induction phenomena. Circuits with inductors and transformers. Sinusoidal oscillations. Complex circuit analysis. Topology of electrical networks. Network analysis. Theorems for linear circuits. Multiports and polyphase systems. Two-ports. Electromagnetic fields and waves. Transmission lines. Energy concepts in electromagnetism.

Application and practical implementation of the content covered in the lecture "Electrical Engineering 2". Solving relevant problems; demonstrations and simple measurements on electrical engineering models, systems and devices in practical laboratory exercises.

In order to complete the LVA "UE Elektrotechnik 2" positively, it is necessary to
 

   -  pass 3 exams (= written tests), each with at least 14 out of 30 points,
   -  complete 4 laboratory exercises (demonstrate interest, good preparation for the respective topic, punctuality, active committed participation),
   -  as well as to achieve a total (through written exams and laboratory exercises) of at least 52 points (out of a possible 112).

 Participation in the weekly exercises, in which problems are presented and solution strategies are worked out, as well as in the laboratory exercises is obligatory. In the event of more than 4 unexcused absences from the exercises (proof of illness, professional incapacity), the LVA will be assessed with "Nicht Genügend" (N5).
