Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to rate scientific publications, identify their relevance and impact, present scientific results in front of colleges and critically examine scientific results.  

Subject of course

Selected scientific publications from the field of optoelectronics, e.g. integrated photonics, semiconductor lasers and detectors, neu materials, nanoplasmonics, etc.

Teaching methods

Independent investigations, presentation of scientific publications including the analysis of weak points in results and the overall quality and correctness of publications.

Written and oral
