This labcourse teaches the use of electronic circuitry in an automated environment. The use of device simulation and measurement automation software is trained.
In this labcourse, amplifiers and filters will be designed (MULTISIM), built and characterized. For the measurements, computer controlled AD/DA converter boards with data accquisition software (LABVIEW) will be used. The necessary programs have to be written in the course, and the principle ist 'learniung by doing'. Documentation is available in German only, but all tutors are speaking English fluently and will help you anytime.
The course is held in summer and winter. The regular cycle is three weeks, and you need to be present in the whole afternoon on Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday depending on your group. In case of special problems, please contact me directly (juergen.smoliner@tuwien.ac.at)
Laboratory execise with obligatory phsical presence. A protocol has to be made. The protocol will be the basis for the grading.
Use Group Registration to register.
Without basic knowledge about operational amplifieres, this labcourse will not make sense for you. If you have questions please contact me (juergen,smoliner@tuwien.ac.at) or Alois Lugstein (alois.lugstein@tuwien.ac.at).me
