After successful completion of the course, students are able to...
- design electronic filters (bandpass/bandstop) with software tools like Multisim and Filter-Pro
- to benchmark the filter using Labview
In this labcourse, amplifiers and filters will be designed (MULTISIM), built and characterized. For the measurements, computer controlled AD/DA converter boards with data accquisition software (LABVIEW) will be used. The necessary programs have to be written in the course. Documentation is available in German only, but all tutors are speaking English fluently and will help you anytime.
This is a 'learning by doing' labcourse. Hardware and Software are as modern as possible.
New: Because of the COVID problems, this exercise will take place in 1-week rotations in both the WS and SS. A maximum of 9 persons per group can participate. The exercise is now carried out in individual work. Registrations and cancellations are also possible at short notice. Due to the limited number of exercise places, the exercise iis usually fully booked n SS. We suggest to do this lacourse in WS if possible.
In case of special problems, please contact me directly (juergen.smoliner@tuwien.ac.at).
In this labcourse, teams of two persons work together. Each team has to deliver one protocol at the end of the course.
Use Group Registration to register.
