After successful completion of the course, students are able to...
.. to name applications of chemistry in micro- and nanotechnology.... explain basic principles of chemical processes... independently carry out substance quantity calculations on the basis of stoichiometry... name organic compounds and estimate their reactivity... training to carry out chemical activities independently and safely in the Chemiwerkbank.
Advanced aspects of the fundamental basics of chemistry required to understand Processes of Micro- and Nanoengineering
This lecture will provide a deeper knowledge of chemistry (classes of compounds, stoichiometric composition, acids / bases, Redox reactions, thermodynamics, kinetics, functionality organic groups, nomenclature of organic compounds) and will apply this knowledge on examples from the field of micro- and nanostructuring (lithograph, solvent cleaning, duration of reactions, mixing ratios of 2 reactants).
Lecture lecture, interactive development of problem cases, computational exercises, practical laboratory
This lecture is held in the winter term as block lecture in October
The lecture is a presence lecture, but will also be streamed via following zoom-link:
