After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply the materials covered in the associated main lecture (360.254 Electrodynamics) in practice and to solve relevant problems themselves.
This course is held in close coordination with the corresponding main lecture (360.254 Electrodynamics). The material of the lectures will be deepened by calculation examples. Simple numerical problems are solved with self-implemented algorithms in a programming language of choice.
Autonomous solving of provided exercises by the students, discussion of the results in small groups, plenary for questions and discussions on the ongoing exercise examples and the material of the main lecture.
By participating in this optional exercise, students can earn bonus points that are added to the points earned in the exams of the main course. The joint briefing for both courses will take place during the first lecture on 06.03.2022 09:15 in EI9.
The grade is based on the number of examples worked out and the quality of presentation at the blackboard during the group discussions.
Knowledge about the courses Electrical Engineering 1&2 and Mathematics 1&2 is required.
