Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to solve a complex problem regarding operating systems and software engineering for high performance computing by researching various publications, documenting the gained knowledge in a short thesis and presenting the work in a short oral presentation. 

Subject of course

Current challenges and an overview of the current state-of-the-art in operating systems and software aspects for high performance computing are being conveyed.
