After successful completion of the course, students are able to work on current problems in the field of microelectronics at a scientific level, present and defend research results appropriately to a professional audience, and evaluate scientific publications from this research area and extract relevant information for their own research work.
This course covers scientific topics that are closely related to ongoing dissertations. The focus is on the characterization of semiconductor devices (including measurement technology) and their modeling. In addition, the doctoral candidates are supported in conducting their scientific work.
