Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze and evaluate computer programs in a structured manner with regard to their functionality and stability. The course is designed to introduce students to the testing of software programs by working on selected examples. Based on the results, further concepts and ideas for optimizing the software are developed and documented accordingly.

Teaching methods

The course consists of a practical part in which provided examples are implemented with the help of computer programs. The practical examples are to be implemented through independent study. Finally, a standardized questionnaire for software evaluation is administered via TUWEL and a final report is prepared, which should include the above-mentioned aspects. All documents and materials will be issued and submitted via the TUWEL module of the course.
