After successful completion of the course, students are able to

  • scientifically investigate current challenges in the field of micro- and nanoelectronics.
  • adequately present and defend their research results before a professional audience.
  • evaluate scientific publications in their own research area and recognize possible implications on their own work.

Subject of course

Discussion of scientific topics in connection with current dissertations which cover at the moment the electrical behavior of semiconductor devices and circuits as well as their characterization and simulation. Support of PhD students in their scientific work.
