Introduction to the basic concepts and methods of project management.

Basics in Project Management, project start (goals), stakeholder- and risk analysis, project planning (tasks, schedule, cost, ressource), project organisation. teamwork and communcation, project controlling, project closure

written exam or hand in of a project handbook (one or two students)

written exam, open questions. Exam date will be anounced. If you want to get your exam in English, please inform me one week before!

Alternatively you can provide a documentation of a project, it should contain the following:

- Cover sheet with name and matriculation number 
- Project definition 
- Stakeholder analysis
- Risk analysis (4-field-matrix)
- graphical Work Breakdown Structure
- 2 Work package descriptions
- Schedule (Gantt-Chart)
- work package-based Resource- and cost plan
- Project organisational chart 

if 2 students hand in together, additionally these two elements:
- Object structure
- capacity plan for one resource 

It is not required to provide fictional Minutes of meetings, status reports, project evaluation/categorization, ...

The project can be delivered by one or two students electronically 2 weeks before the end of the semester at the latest. You can hand in also at a later moment, but please be aware thet it can take a while till the mark is entered into the system.
Please send ONE pdf with a table of content, the filename should start with the name of the student(s).
