In line with the courses offered in the context of the specialization module of “Production Information Management” (PIM), this seminar aims at improving the competencies of participating students in systematic literature survey and analysis, critical thinking and writing scientific reports, which should address advanced topics (methods, systems, tools, etc.) in production management, especially intelligent and data-driven production management systems.

Topic will be renewed every semester with the focus on advances in industrial production management.

1. The attendance in one of the course dates is mandatory for writing a scientific work in our department (attendance check).
2. The evaluation is based on the submission of the scientific work. The scientific work can have the form of a continous text, a presentation or a documented literature research. (Details about the form of the submission have to be discussed with the supervisor).

The positive completition of one lecture of the "Production Information Management" module is mandatory.
